I asked Anna for help, as although I am an active and semi-knowledgeable gardener, I’d got stuck with some areas and a bit overwhelmed. Anna’s warmth, expertise, hands-on pragmatism and  enthusiastic encouragement were just what I needed. We worked as a pair and she helped me develop some early ideas as well as vetoing the things that were not going to work. In three, 3-hour sessions, we’ve made such a difference and I am once again really happy with how the garden looks and excited with what the coming Spring will bring.

We have enjoyed working with Anna on our recent garden refresh project.

Our garden layout and border planting had remained more or less unchanged since we moved into the property over 30 years ago, and the thought of altering an established, albeit fairly plain, arrangement had become increasingly daunting.

We discussed our concerns and ambitions for the space with Anna.

Her resulting thoughtful response, in the form of an initial appraisal presentation, followed by a planting scheme to provide all-seasonal interest together with a plants’ schedule with costings, really gave us the confidence to go ahead and make the necessary changes to create a far more stimulating & delightful outdoor space.
